How to add third-party cards to Apple Wallet app in iOS 26

Most people know the Apple Wallet app can store credit and debit cards, but it can do much more than that. In fact, you can also store unsupported rewards and membership cards with a simple workaround. Here’s how to make it happen on iOS 26.

Over the years, you’ve probably signed up for countless loyalty and membership programs. But when it’s time to cash in those points or get that discount, the card is often nowhere to be found. Instead of rummaging through your purse, wallet, or glove box, you can keep all those cards neatly organized right in your iPhone’s Wallet app.

While some rewards cards can be added automatically through an app prompt or the company’s website, many aren’t officially supported by Apple Wallet. Fortunately, there’s an easy fix.

Use Pass2U to Add Unsupported Cards

Pass2U Wallet is a third-party app that lets you create and store customized digital passes compatible with Apple Wallet. It’s free to use, though a one-time $2.99 upgrade unlocks more design options, barcode formats, and removes watermarks and ads.

You can use Pass2U for a variety of digital cards—like rewards programs, gift cards, boarding passes, and store memberships. However, while the app technically supports ID templates, you should never use it as a replacement for an official form of identification such as a driver’s license.

How to Add a Rewards or Membership Card to Apple Wallet

  • Download and open the Pass2U app on your iPhone.
  • Tap Pass Store at the bottom of the screen.
  • In the search bar, type the name of your rewards or membership program.
  • Choose a template that fits your card and tap it.
  • Select Next to proceed.
  • Fill in the requested information.
  • Use the Scan feature to capture your card’s barcode.
  • When you’re done, tap Done to save it to Apple Wallet.

Note: Templates from the Pass Store are free to use—you won’t need to purchase anything to create your pass.

Keep Your Cards Close

That’s all it takes. With digital versions of your rewards cards in Apple Wallet, you can leave the physical clutter behind. The next time you’re shopping, grabbing a coffee, or checking in for a flight, everything you need will be just a tap away on your iPhone.
