The company appears ready to unveil Gemini 3.0, the next generation of its AI model suite, which is reportedly nearing release.
According to recent social media posts and leaks, Google has been testing Gemini 3.0 for several weeks. Early rumors suggested an October 9 announcement, but that turned out to be inaccurate. A new leak now points to October 22 as the likely date, supported by an image circulating on Reddit and X that references Gemini 3.0 by name.
The image, which appears to show internal documentation titled “Major Milestones,” outlines Google’s planned timeline for Gemini 3.0, including an October 22 reveal. Although the document’s authenticity hasn’t been verified, the timeline suggests Google may have begun testing the model as early as August.
What to Expect from Gemini 3.0
An X user who shared the leaked image claimed to have independently verified that the rollout will happen before the end of the month. Google is also expected to expand access to additional testers soon.
While details remain under wraps, it’s safe to assume Gemini 3.0 will bring improvements in speed, efficiency, and capability over the already powerful Gemini 2.5 Pro model. As with past updates, enhancements in latency, cost optimization, and coding performance are anticipated. The model is also expected to further power Google’s AI ecosystem, extending beyond the Gemini chatbot to other apps and enterprise tools.
Recent posts suggest that Gemini 3.0 may also feature enhanced SVG rendering and visual reasoning capabilities, outperforming Gemini 2.5 in creative and technical tasks. However, the sources for these claims remain unverified.

In parallel, Google has been rolling out other major AI initiatives. The company recently introduced Gemini 2.5 Computer Use, a model capable of browsing the web and interacting with on-screen interfaces like a human user, and Gemini Enterprise, a business-oriented platform that integrates Google’s top AI tools. Notably, Gemini Enterprise was unveiled on October 9—the same date that earlier rumors had tied to the Gemini 3.0 launch.
Meanwhile, reports from Testing Catalog mention that Google might also refresh its creative and lightweight AI models, including the Veo 3.1 video generator and a so-called Nano Banana model powered by Gemini 3.0 Pro. These, however, remain speculative for now.
If the latest leak proves accurate, Google’s Gemini 3.0 debut could mark another major milestone in 2025’s rapidly intensifying AI competition—just as OpenAI and Anthropic continue their own momentum with next-generation releases.
